Planning Manager job: This is an opportunity for Planning Manager to join a top 10 house builder from their regional office in Leicester.

This national house builder is looking for various town planning candidates to join this growing office in Leicester. As the successful Planning Manager, you’ll be part of the busy planning team working on a variety of immediate and strategic sites handling the management of the planning application process as well as mentoring member of the team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the planning application process
• Support the Planning Director
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure planning applications are prepared properly and in accordance with local authority requirements
• Manage all Section 106 agreements
• Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
• Provide planning reports for each development

Required Skills & Experience

• Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
• Experienced with planning for residential developments
• Previously worked for a housebuilder (not essential)
• Ideally 5+ years in Town Planning
