A team of luxury residential specialists working on developments and private properties in London an overseas. This is the perfect opportunity for a creative individual, who enjoys highly detailed projects and hand sketching as much as relaxing over a glass of wine with their colleagues.

This is a multidisciplinary Architectural and Interior Design studio delivering some of the most exquisite residential projects in London and worldwide. Their team of 10, are experts in producing innovative, bespoke solutions for the most exclusive clientele.
Current projects include a 23,000 sq. ft. private house in Wentworth and a variety of private residences in Belgravia, Mayfair and Chelsea. With a steady pipeline of work for both, new and repeat clients, they are now looking for an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant, with second to none technical skills and a keen eye for detail, to join their team and work on a variety of high spec projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Producing good quality drawing and tender packages
  • Coordinating with consultants and suppliers under the supervision of a Senior when needed
  • Carrying out accurate site surveys and assessment of existing conditions
  • Awareness of project/site progress, health & safety/CDM regulations
  • Ensuring that all technical work is of exemplary standard and meet client’s expectations
  • Producing excellent design presentations
  • Communicating with colleagues, suppliers, contractors and third parties in person, email and telephone

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the architectural industry and at least 1.5 years of experience delivering projects in Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Chelsea
  • Working knowledge of all RIBA stages: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration and site supervision
  • Technical detailing experience
  • Relevant experience of luxury residential projects
  • Knowledge of architectural detailing and understanding of industry drawing standards
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning process
  • Experience in bespoke joinery and client liaison would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and innovation in design
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
  • RIBA Part II qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office
  • Fantastic hand drawings/rendering ability would be beneficial

Salary & Package

£29,000 – £34,000 DOE
