Part II Architectural Assistant job in Winchester, Hampshire

Part II Architectural Assistant job available in Winchester with a leading architectural practice in conservation and residential. This practice also offers huge career progression and flexibility!

With their projects being featured in several industry and lifestyle publications on a regular basis, the practice’s portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors.

Due to a number of new projects they have an opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working directly with a senior member of staff on several high-end conservation projects across various RIBA stages
  • Production of design and technical drawing packages
  • Ensuring work is produced and delivered to a high standard
  • Using ArchiCAD on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified as a Part II Architectural Assistant with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • To have an interest and passion in conservation and historical buildings
  • Examples of classical detailing in a portfolio would be highly beneficial, plus details of planning applications, listed building consents, and design & access statements that you have been involved with
  • Strong hand sketching skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • Salary of £28,000 – £33,000 DOE
