Part II Architectural Assistant - Solihull, West Midlands

A young and creative studio based in Solihull are looking for an ambitious Part II Architectural Assistant to work across a large selection of projects including education, hotels, commercial, residential.

This small practice formed in 2007 likes to get all staff involved in tasks and projects, with regular feedback and development support.

Role & Responsibilities

This position has arisen due to company expansion and an increasing workload, of which the practice requires an assistant to help support across a broad range of projects.
In return, the company will support you in your progression into Part III and beyond, as well as introducing you to an eclectic mix of projects types, styles and sizes, including a care home and residential housing project.

Required Skills & Experience

ArchiCAD experience would be advantageous
3D modelling experience is essential
UK based training and professional experience preferred
Good design and technical ability
Client facing experience would be a bonus

Salary & Package

The salary bracket for this role is £20,000 – £28,000 depending on experience and statutory pension entitlement.

This lively and vibrant practice will shortly be moving to a centrally based office in Solihull, a short distance away from all local amenities including train station, shopping and dining. Similarly, the practice currently enjoys 4pm Friday finishes, flexible working hours, and occasional social events including local pub visits. Moreover, they are keen to support ongoing CPD including bi-weekly internal CPD sessions, external company presentations and visits to the regional CPD office.
