An opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Assistant to join an award winning and highly successful practice, to work across a number of different sectors in their highly social and professional Reading office.

My client is an AJ100, multi-disciplinary practice who work closely with 2 other companies to provide integrated service including Architecture, Interior Design, space planning, graphics, perspectives, 3D visualisation and project management for large and smaller schemes. With 5 offices across the country and over 100 members of staff, This national architectural practice has a strong reputation in the commercial field undertaking commissions throughout the UK on all building types via five strategically located regional offices.

They have a multiple award winning portfolio which includes retail, residential, leisure, offices, industrial, distribution, private/affordable social housing, stadia, refurbishment, conservation of listed buildings and regeneration schemes and now due to continued growth and expansion they are looking for an Architectural Assistant to join them.

Role & Responsibilities

The role would involve working on commercial projects working from concept feasibly stages, producing design access statements, and planning submissions.

Required Skills & Experience

-Part II qualified or equivalent architectural qualification
-Minimum of 2+ years’ experience
-Sound knowledge of current UK legislation
-Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce working drawings to a high standard
-Revit experience is desirable but not essential
-Good communication skills written and verbal are essential.
-A strong work ethic
-Attention to detail¬

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be offered a salary between £20,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
