Job Summary
Part II Architectural Assistant Job London offers an opportunity to join a design-led architecture studio working across Central London and international projects. This Architecture role is based in London and focuses on high-end residential and hospitality schemes, including refurbishment of listed and historic buildings.
The position provides involvement across all RIBA stages, supporting both concept design and technical delivery. You will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to design development, technical packages and on-site coordination.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support senior architects across residential and hospitality projects through all RIBA work stages
- Assist in developing concept designs, planning drawings and presentation material for client and stakeholder review
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and tender packages for project delivery phases
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained
- Attend site visits and support contract administration activities during construction stages
- Participate in internal design reviews, contributing ideas and feedback to improve project outcomes
- Assist with material research and selection to ensure quality and suitability for high-end projects
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years UK professional experience following completion of Part II Architectural qualification
- Experience working on high-end residential or hospitality projects within a UK practice environment
- Strong design ability supported by technical knowledge across planning and delivery stages
- Proficiency in Vectorworks is preferred, although training can be provided if required
- Good understanding of construction detailing, materials and specification writing
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to studio culture
Salary & Benefits
- Salary between £30,000 and £37,000 depending on experience and capability
- 21 days annual leave increasing to 25 days with continued service
