Our client has established a reputation as one of the leading practices in the conservation field, carrying out work of the highest quality in the repair and creative adaptation of historic buildings to accommodate new uses. The practice is particularly known for its expertise in the design of new buildings that respond to their historic context without stylistic pastiche.
The practice has been successful in gaining funding for its projects from the Heritage and Millennium Lottery Funds, and its work has been recognised in awards by the RIBA, the Civic Trust and Europa Nostra.
Based in central London the practice consists of 12 design staff working closely on a number of projects throughout the UK.
Our client is now looking to recruit a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their expanding team based in London, SE.
The successful candidate will be RIBA Part II qualified and will have previous experience working within a UK based practice.
You will be a bright and enthusiastic individual who is willing to take on responsibility; you will also need to work well both on an individual basis and as part of a team. Our client works primarily on conservation projects and so experience in this area is essential.
You will be fully proficient in AutoCAD.
