Our client is focused on providing a client centred service with a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Working with an equally committed group of specialist consultants and contractors, they offer a complete architectural design and project management solution from concept to execution. The emphasis is in creating appropriate and carefully considered design solutions for all aspects of the project.

Our client aims to develop and refine the brief, and seek to ensure with their consultant team, that the end result satisfies both the technical and functional requirements of the brief and integrates these into a design solution which explores the design at all levels to create the most appropriate and intelligent architectural solution.

Over the period of its ten year existence, the practice has developed a specialisation in the retail field executing and designing stores for many of the best known luxury brands.

In parallel with their retail work, they have a strong presence in the residential market with recently completed prestigious apartment developments in London’s West End.

In addition they have a continually developing portfolio of work for private clients in both apartments and private houses.

Our client is now looking to recruit a talented Part II architectural assistant to work along side a company director on the designs of a number of exciting new retail and shopping centre developments.

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must be RIBA part II qualified and have previous experience working within a UK based Architectural practice.

Our client is looking for applications from candidates that can demonstrate design flair and have the ability to produce high quality presentation drawings by hand as well as using CAD. Experience within the retail and interior sectors would be an advantage but not essential.

All candidates must be fully proficient on AutoCAD.

The practice offers a truly excellent working environment, based in a converted riverside wharf building with windows and balconies over looking the Thames. The practice even has it’s own mooring on the Thames for those people wishing to travel to work by boat. The practice is a particularly social place to work with regular social events, gallery visits, team lunches and nights out.

Working along side an experienced Architect the successful candidate will be encouraged to gain experience in all aspects of a project and gain further design skills.
