Are you familiar with Grade II Listed buildings and church restoration projects? This award winning company are offering an opportunity to work closely with the Directors on a number of exquisite UK projects within conservation areas, whilst also offering the opportunity to complete your Part III.

Established in 1972, the company now has a team of 20 members of staff, offering wide-ranging architectural services at the highest possible standard. The practice is split into two divisions with one managing planning and conservation and the other managing new builds.

The practice are renowned for their specialism in conservation architecture, with an eclectic portfolio of projects in sectors such as residential, ecclesiastical, commercial, offices, education, institutional and galleries. Their projects range in size and value across locations such as London and Yorkshire, amongst others. Completed projects include large manor houses and their landscapes, castles, churches, large educational buildings, art galleries, and residential properties.

Role & Responsibilities

This role will offer the successful candidate the chance to work on a variety of conservation projects for prestigious private clients, currently in London and Yorkshire. You will be working closely with one of the Directors of the company across a variety of different RIBA stages, both in the office and on site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part II qualified or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • Must be eligible to work within the UK, with strong knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Experience working on conservation buildings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
  • Proficiency in Microstation would be highly advantageous, but training can be provided
  • Experience working on all RIBA stages would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills

This role is offered on a permanent basis, with working hours of 9am – 6pm, and would suit a candidate who is looking to step in to a career with long term prospects.

Salary & Package

You will be offered a salary of around £26,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience. In addition to this you will also receive a company pension.
