An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a talented Part II Architectural Assisant to join a prestigious AJ top 30 practice based in Islington on a permanent basis.

Established over 40 years ago, the company is now placed in the top 30 of the AJ120 with over 140 staff. They are one of very few large practices to achieve a 50:50 gender balance, and welcome staff from all sorts of places and backgrounds, creating a diverse and enjoyable working atmosphere.

The firm are renowned for their concentration in architecture, master planning and urban design; and focus on urban regeneration and creating entire new villages and cities. With a great emphasis on sustainability, they have successfully grown an enviable, award winning portfolio of projects throughout most of the London boroughs and across England.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Architect and Project Manager, you will be working on a large Residential project in Camden with a value of up to £33million, working on the later RIBA stages of delivering the project to completion. You will be expected to create detailed BIM delivery plans and delivering these drawings to the Project Leader.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part II qualified in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years UK experience
  • Proficience in Revit is essential
  • Experience working on all Residential project types
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
  • Experience working on the later RIBA stages up to completion
  • A solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
  • Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues on all levels

  • Salary & Package:

In addition to a highly competitive basic salary ranging from £27,000 to £38,000 dependant on experience, the successful candidate will also be eligible for the following benefits:
