Hunter Dunning is seeking a creative and driven Part II Architectural Assistant on behalf of a forward thinking, design-led practice based in London and China.

The firm have specialist expertise in the high-end residential sector, with work ranging from bespoke residences for private clients in prime areas of London and across the globe; to award winning, multiple unit residential and commercial projects for developer clients. Their portfolio includes varying project types and scales, from individual commissions in St Johns Wood and the Phillimore Estate, to large scale, mixed-use developments circa 20,000sq ft.

This role requires the successful candidate to have strong design and presentation skills, paired with good technical and construction knowledge; and it is essential that applicants are familiar with UK construction standards and regulations. Applicants should be qualified at RIBA Part II level or equivalent, and will have a minimum of 3 years professional experience working through various RIBA stages.

As the practice has used Revit as a BIM tool since 2006, it is also a necessity that this person can hit the ground running, and therefore has extensive knowledge and experience using Revit on live projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is also highly advantageous.

The successful candidate would be joining a medium sized team working from their practice in Camden, where they offer a creative, fun and supportive office environment. They are able to provide excellent career prospects and have a fantastic mentorship programme in place which is designed to offer a clear and transparent path through the office hierarchy.

There is an annual staff trip abroad, bringing everyone together; and there are often events organised throughout the year which have included baking competitions, sports competitions, regular site visits and social get togethers.

This is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate to join an architectural practice where they will be made to feel genuinely valued, work on all stages of beautiful and complex projects; and quickly become an integral part of a lively and diverse team.

If you have the required skills and experience for this role, please send your CV and sample portfolio to fern.heath@hunterdunning.co.uk at the earliest opportunity. Successful applicants will be contacted prior to forwarding applications to the employer.
