Part II Architectural Assistant - Camden, London

Based in Camden and within walking distance of Swish cottage, Chalk Farm and Belsize Park, the practice is now seeking an incredibly talented and design led Part II Architectural Assistant to join their friendly team on a contract basis immediately.

Established 15 years ago, the company is a small practice who has built a reputation for style, quality and excellence. Their clients include individual residential projects, high-end residential projects, commercial organisations and contract furnishing projects, all inclusive of concept and design.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be working on a range of residential projects, focusing on refurbishments, extensions and conversions, and working through all RIBA stages focusing on technical drawings. You will be overlooking planning applications whilst creating construction packages reporting to the Operations Manager and working within a small team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Part II Qualified
• Experience working on Residential projects in the UK is essential
• Must have excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Competence in Vectorworks is essential
• Experience in using AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop is desirable
• High standard of designs
• Excellent design skills
• Knowledge of technical detailing

Rate:

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive rate ranging between £15 – £20 per hour dependant on experience.
