Part II Architectural Assistant - Berkshire

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified part 2 architectural assistant to join their team in their office located in Berkshire on a permanent full time basis. With a steadily growing workload and a number of key projects going ahead they require an ambitious and enthusiastic assistant to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing designs, working drawings and illustrations. Producing early stage concept designs to meet a specific brief, contribute to the design process of planning applications and prepare baseline site and context surveys including photographic surveys. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop are essential and knowledge of Revit is a welcome addition.

The key attributes required of the successful candidate are listed below:

• Must be Enthusiastic about good quality design
• Have previous experience in a similar role working on Residential or Mixed use projects.
• Great attention to detail
• Comfortably work on multiple projects
• Have a creative approach to over come problems and issues that may arise
• Strong communication skills and good team working ability
• A willingness to learn new skills and Techniques
• Great time management skills, working to tight deadlines
