Job Summary

Architect Job Southwark offers an opportunity for a newly qualified architect to join a collaborative and design-led architecture practice. Role & Responsibilities

  • Work on architectural and urban design projects from concept through to delivery across multiple RIBA stages.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, design packages and presentation materials to support project development and approvals.
  • Collaborate with planners, landscape architects and consultants to deliver coordinated and integrated design solutions.
  • Assist with planning applications and supporting documentation in line with UK regulatory requirements.
  • Attend design reviews, client meetings and stakeholder workshops, contributing to project discussions.
  • Support senior architects with project coordination, programme management and technical delivery.
  • Develop design ideas with a focus on sustainability, placemaking and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Recently qualified Part 3 Architect with ARB registration or Part 2 with significant UK practice experience.
  • Strong design and technical ability with an interest in sustainable and environmentally responsible design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software for design development.
  • Experience working across multiple RIBA stages within a UK architectural practice environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative project delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to learning and development within a professional studio environment.
