Job Summary

Midweight Interior Designer Interior Design job in London supports hospitality and F&B projects from concept through completion. This opportunity suits a creative designer seeking exposure to international commercial interior projects within a collaborative studio environment. The successful candidate will contribute to concept development, technical drawing production, presentation preparation, and project coordination across multiple design stages. Daily responsibilities include supporting senior designers, preparing client presentations, developing SketchUp models, and assisting during site visits and snagging activities. Role & Responsibilities

  • Support concept design development alongside senior designers across hospitality and F&B interior projects worldwide
  • Prepare clear design presentations using sketches, digital visuals, mood boards, and supporting presentation materials
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and wider project stakeholders throughout delivery stages
  • Produce accurate technical drawing packages using AutoCAD for hospitality and commercial interior environments
  • Develop and refine SketchUp models supporting design visualisation, coordination, and internal project reviews
  • Attend site visits, joinery reviews, and snagging activities while supporting project quality standards consistently
  • Take responsibility for allocated project areas while maintaining design intent and technical coordination requirements
  • Contribute positively within the studio environment while supporting junior colleagues and collaborative project delivery

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum four years professional interior design experience across hospitality or F&B commercial interior projects
  • Strong technical drawing ability using AutoCAD across detailed hospitality and commercial interior environments successfully
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills supporting clear client engagement and collaborative project coordination processes
  • Strong understanding of commercial interior materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment specification requirements consistently
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines efficiently while maintaining exceptional design quality and technical accuracy standards
  • Experience supporting projects from early concept development through technical delivery and final project completion successfully
