A Mid Weight Interior Architect job is now available in Chelsea, London! This is a great opportunity for a talented Interior Designer with excellent technical skills wanting to work on incredibly exciting high end residential projects. Attention to detail is essential!

Our client is a luxury residential design and development practice, working across architecture, interior design, operations, manufacturing and investment. Due to continued success and repeat clientele, they now require a skilled technical designer who is very familiar working with AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign. You should be naturally creative, self-motivated and a detail-focused team player who is passionate about interior design and creating beautiful homes.

Role & Responsibilities

• Management to ensure smooth processes – from initial creative idea through to install
• Creating elevations and presentations using Photoshop/InDesign
• Producing schedules and detailing for rooms and assisting in-house architects with interior design elements of drawing packages
• Budgeting of design schemes; sourcing and negotiating with suppliers
• Working closely external craftsmen, builders and suppliers from inception to completion.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years’ luxury high end residential post qualified experience
• Proven experience creating beautiful design schemes from start through to install
• Experience working with high end residential clients
• Experience meeting budgets and time scales
• Experience and relationships with a broad range of ID suppliers and good negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders including builders and craftsmen
• An appreciation of classical architecture and art through to current design themes and trends
• Excellent AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign skills
• Good hand sketching skills is advantageous
• Fluent spoken and written English.
