Job Summary
Mid Weight Interior Architect Job Chelsea is available with an Interior Design practice delivering luxury residential projects. This role is based in London and suits a talented designer with excellent technical ability. You will work on high-end homes requiring detailed drawing packages, rendered elevations, presentations, and strong design coordination.
The position needs confidence using AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp across live residential schemes. You will support design work from initial creative ideas through to installation. You will work with internal teams, external craftsmen, builders, and suppliers from inception to completion. Role & Responsibilities
- Manage design processes from initial creative ideas through to successful installation and project completion
- Create rendered elevations and client presentations using Photoshop and InDesign to a high standard
- Produce room schedules, technical detailing, and coordinated information for interior design drawing packages
- Assist in-house architects with interior design elements across residential project documentation and delivery
- Support budgeting for design schemes while sourcing products and negotiating with suitable suppliers
- Work closely with external craftsmen, builders, and suppliers from project inception through completion
- Maintain strong attention to detail when coordinating drawings, finishes, schedules, and presentation information
Skills & Experience Required
- At least four years of post qualified experience within luxury high-end residential interior design
- Proven experience creating beautiful design schemes from early concept stages through to installation
- Experience working directly with high-end residential clients on detailed private home projects
- Confident meeting project budgets and timescales while maintaining strong design and delivery standards
- Established relationships with interior design suppliers and strong negotiation skills for project sourcing
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams, external stakeholders, builders, craftsmen, and suppliers
- Strong appreciation of classical architecture, art, current design themes, and contemporary interior trends
- Excellent AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp skills with good hand sketching advantageous
