Mid-Weight FF&E Design opportunity in SW London. Join a talented and creative team, famous for their designs within the hospitality and F&B sectors and their unique approach to interiors. Exposure to all project stages, a salary of up to £32,000 and genuine room for progression is available for the right candidate

A leading London based studio with over 12 years’ experience specialising in one-of-a-kind interiors for high-end restaurants, bars and hotels both in the UK and overseas. Their passion for arts and bespoke pieces, partnered with the ability to understand their clients’ vision has earned them their reputation and an ever-increasing pipeline of enviable clients and projects.

The team of 40 include interior architects, interior designers and FF&E specialists. Their timeless and functional approach to interiors is a result of their collaborative efforts and a passion for arts and all-things-design. Due to very exciting new projects, they are now looking for a Mid-Weight FF&E Designer to join them on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

• Working closely alongside the Senior and Project FF&E Designers and assists project teams
• Attending design team meetings and reviews
• Researching product resources and specifications
• Sourcing materials, furnishings and fittings (sanitary ware, ironmongery, etc.)
• Creating and presenting mood boards, sample boards and FF&E proposals to clients
• Managing client sign-off of FF&E items and documentation
• Overseeing quality control and production of sampling, including mock-ups and prototypes of custom items (providing sketch details where required)
• Coordinating and overseeing FF&E procurement, delivery and installation of all FF&E items, including coordination of relevant on/off-site trades, specialists and scenic artists
• Liaising with the Accounts team on procurement and account reconciliation
• Maintaining project related documentation; project files, correspondence, digital/sample libraries, meeting minutes, etc.
• Establishing and maintaining excellent client and supplier relationships
• Liaising effectively with clients and other team members
• Assisting in sample room maintenance, including keeping supplier details and samples up-to-date.
• Setting key schedule dates alongside Senior Designers
• Acting as main point of contact for all FF&E related enquiries
• Maintaining realistic project timelines
• Supervising, inspiring, motivating and monitoring junior members of the team
• Introducing new ways of working, above and beyond the brief

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of FF&E experience working on hospitality/F&B projects
• Proven experience in sourcing, specifying, scheduling, procurement and installation
• Experience working on projects from concept development through to installation and snagging
• Ability to set up the financial budget with senior staff and track the procurement of materials against budget
• Excellent client liaison skills are essential
• Ability to develop and maintain relationship with suppliers

• Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of /experience in Vectorworks would be good

  Salary & Package

£28,000 – £32,000 Fully dependent on experience plus pension scheme
