Landscape Architect Job in Notting Hill, London

Based in Notting Hill, this Landscape Architect job involves designing, building, and maintaining top-end private and commercial outside spaces, both countrywide and internationally. The team is recognised for creating bespoke, dynamic, and immersive spaces that deliver on beauty and functionality.

Established over 30 years ago, this company of around 40 is renowned for designing, building, and maintaining beautiful and innovative gardens. Our client aims to push boundaries and break new ground, collaborating closely with clients and remaining connected to nature.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with the senior design team on a range of projects, including large-scale commercial and high-end domestic schemes
  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish with the support of the Associate Design Director
  • Build strong relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Translate design briefs into rationalised concepts
  • Produce technical drawings, schedules, and specifications and review implementation on-site
  • Attend site/client meetings, record and action minutes
  • Source materials and manage supplier relations
  • General office administration, including managing studio resources through accurate timesheets
  • Ensure adherence to CDM 15 regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Have a degree in Landscape Architecture with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Be highly creative and proactive, with excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D VWX/AutoCAD, and a good understanding of Excel
  • Have experience working on multi-disciplinary design teams, particularly commercial complex urban projects, with the ability to effectively manage project information sharing
  • Have an interest in developing plant knowledge
  • Be very organised, able to structure their own workload, and be punctual
  • Have a good understanding of hard landscaping and construction detailing
  • Have some experience working on domestic landscape projects
  • Be able to produce high-quality visuals using Photoshop and 3D rendering software
  • Enjoy working in a fast-moving, dynamic, and professional atmosphere.
