Role & Responsibilities

• Produce landscape strategies, masterplans and detailed hard and soft landscape designs across multiple UK project types.
• Prepare LVIA and TVIA assessments including viewpoints, photomontages and coordinated environmental documentation for planning submissions.
• Lead planning stage deliverables including design statements, graphical outputs and responses to statutory consultees.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams including planners, engineers and environmental specialists to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings, contributing to presentations and supporting public consultation materials where required.
• Undertake site appraisals, surveys and inspections, informing design development and technical specifications across project stages.
• Assist in preparing tender documentation and technical specifications aligned with project requirements and compliance standards.
• Maintain quality assurance, CDM compliance and sustainability objectives throughout all phases of project delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree in Landscape Architecture with a recognised qualification; postgraduate qualification advantageous for career progression.
• Chartered status or actively working towards chartership with a strong portfolio demonstrating UK-based project experience.
• Demonstrable experience preparing LVIA and planning submissions in line with current UK planning policy requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and GIS software to support design, analysis and presentation outputs.
• Working knowledge of 3D or BIM tools such as SketchUp or Revit to support visualisation and coordination tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage workload independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Full UK driving licence to support site visits and project-related travel as required.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and demonstrated capability within similar roles.
