Role & Responsibilities

• Support design across concept, detail, and build monitoring stages for private garden projects
• Work directly with clients while attending meetings and site visits throughout project delivery
• Work on gardens surrounding listed buildings, country estates, rural homes, and private properties
• Contribute to planting design, seasonal planting ideas, material selection, and technical design information
• Liaise with architects, contractors, gardeners, and wider teams to maintain design integrity
• Represent the practice with clarity, professionalism, and confidence during meetings and project discussions
• Support thoughtful design work rooted in site history, architecture, context, and classical principles

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum one years’ experience working on UK landscape projects is essential for applicants
• Experience in traditional garden design is highly beneficial, although not essential for consideration
• Plant knowledge and an understanding of seasonal planting across private garden projects
• Confident presenting ideas and liaising directly with clients during meetings and site visits
• Experience or interest in traditional and classical garden design principles is essential
• Proficient in Vectorworks, with training offered, and 3D skills considered a bonus
• Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, gardeners, and planners
• Driving licence required for site visits, with right to work in the UK required

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of £27,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
