Job Summary

This Junior FF&E Designer job offers an opportunity to join a successful luxury interior design team. This role supports prestigious luxury residential, hospitality and commercial projects delivered for discerning clients worldwide. You will work alongside experienced designers across concept development, FF&E schemes, mood boards, sketches and CGI presentations. The position requires enthusiasm, creativity and strong organisation skills within a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You will support senior designers while developing practical knowledge across furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting and bespoke products.

Daily work includes preparing presentation materials, coordinating samples and maintaining accurate project documentation. You will also liaise with suppliers, contractors and project teams throughout the design and delivery process. Role & Responsibilities

  • Support senior and lead FF&E designers across all stages of high-end residential projects
  • Research suitable furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, sanitaryware and bespoke products for developing design schemes
  • Source materials, furnishings and fittings from leading international suppliers according to established project requirements
  • Prepare detailed mood boards, sample boards and client presentation documents supporting agreed creative design concepts
  • Assist with FF&E specifications, schedules, procurement documentation and accurate coordination of supplier information
  • Support procurement activities, deliveries and installations while maintaining organised project records and sample libraries
  • Attend design meetings, supplier meetings and site visits while communicating professionally with relevant project stakeholders
  • Obtain supplier and contractor quotations and lead times while completing assigned work accurately within deadlines

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1+ year of experience within a luxury interior design studio environment
  • A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or another closely related design discipline
  • Demonstrate genuine passion for luxury interiors, exceptional craftsmanship, bespoke products and considered design details
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Work confidently within fast-paced environments while adapting quickly as project requirements and deadlines evolve
  • Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with internal and external teams
  • Confident using Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office to produce design and presentation materials
  • Ability to contribute creative ideas to design concepts, FF&E schemes, mood boards, sketches and CGI presentations
