Interior Designer job in Central London

Interior Designer job with a leading furniture dealership based in Central London. The practice has one of the largest networks of clients in their industry, both within London and across Europe. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for an Interior Designer to assist with space planning and furniture selection for a range of end users across London and Europe. Offering a salary of up to £33,000 plus benefits.

Established over two decades ago, our client is one of the most well-connected privately-owned dealerships in London. Their team of 20+ work with a range of clients from architecture practices, design & build firms, developers, and end-users. Currently working from their office in Farringdon but with relocation plans in the spring which will see the team move into a new office space in one of London’s most vibrant areas, Shoreditch.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with product specification and furniture selection
  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and design aesthetics
  • Space planning and furniture layout plans
  • Produce 3D renders
  • Assist with client meetings and supplier liaison
  • Visit sites when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in interior design or space planning within the workplace design sector
  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and 3Ds Max
  • Experience with corporate furniture selection and specifications.

What you get back

  • Salary up to £33,000
  • Remote working on Fridays
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (3 days retained for Christmas shutdown)
  • Work hours of 8:30am – 5:30pm.
