Role & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for understanding client briefs and translating requirements into practical design solutions
  • Develop concepts through hand sketches and digital visuals, preparing presentations for client review
  • Produce layout plans and mark up CAD drawings to support coordination with junior team members
  • Undertake material research and develop proposals aligned with design intent and project requirements
  • Liaise directly with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure smooth project coordination
  • Work within project timelines and fee constraints maintaining quality and delivery standards
  • Prepare information for planning, building control and CDM applications under guidance where required
  • Carry out site inspections and support project delivery ensuring design intent is achieved

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 4 years experience working on hospitality or F&B interior design projects within the UK
  • Proven ability delivering projects from concept through to completion including on-site involvement
  • Strong communication skills with experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
  • Understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes relevant to interior projects
  • Ability to prepare and support statutory applications within a project environment
  • Good knowledge of interior construction methods including joinery, partitions and metalwork
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp for design and technical delivery
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary between £35,000 and £42,000 depending on experience and project capability
