Job Summary

An Interior Design & Sourcing Coordinator job in London is now available with a confidential private property portfolio operator. The role is based in Richmond, London, within the interior design sector, supporting ultra-high-end residential projects. This opportunity will suit an organised and practical interiors professional with strong sourcing, procurement and supplier experience. You will work with the interior design team, Head of Design & Construction and senior leadership.

The role will cover FF&E sourcing, supplier liaison, procurement administration, logistics, inventories and project documentation. Projects include private family residences across London and overseas. The Interior Design & Sourcing job in Richmond requires someone confident with trade suppliers, overseas shipments and high-quality residential delivery. The successful candidate will support a refined portfolio where detail, discretion and service standards are essential.

About the Company

The employer is the creator, owner and operator of an exclusive international collection of private family residences. The portfolio includes properties across London, the South of France and Mauritius. Each residence is curated to a high standard and supported by discreet service teams.

The interior ambience is created through an in-house design team, with projects focused on luxury, privacy and refinement. With a strong pipeline of projects in the UK and overseas, the business is seeking an Interior Design & Sourcing Coordinator to support sourcing, procurement, logistics and design administration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with the interior design team, Head of Design & Construction and CEO on project requirements
  • Source products, quotations, lead times and technical information as directed by the Interior Designer
  • Liaise with trade suppliers to secure availability, trade pricing, quotations and required product information
  • Raise purchase orders, track approvals, check invoices and liaise with accounts regarding payments
  • Monitor orders from placement through delivery, installation, returns, replacements and final project records
  • Coordinate site deliveries, supplier schedules, access requirements, specialist shipping and storage where needed
  • Create and manage furnishing inventories, interior bibles, specifications, schedules and supplier information
  • Support project administration, meeting notes, digital filing, samples, catalogues and wider design team tasks

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of five years’ experience coordinating ultra-high-end residential interior design projects
  • Strong FF&E sourcing, procurement and buying experience within an interior design company or similar setting
  • Knowledge of soft furnishings, furniture, lighting, finishes, suppliers and international trade resources
  • Confident negotiator with experience opening trade accounts and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Highly organised and able to create processes, manage schedules and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Hands-on approach with experience liaising directly with international suppliers, contractors and overseas shipments
  • Understanding of English, French or Italian design styles, art, antiques or contemporary pieces is beneficial
  • Flexible team player with excellent communication, presentation skills and willingness to travel overseas
  • Basic AutoCAD skills would be beneficial

Salary & Benefits

  • Circa £45,000 – £50,000, flexible for the right candidate
