Interior Architect Job in Central London

An Interior Architect job is now available, with an established interior design firm with an outstanding portfolio of high-end residential and hospitality projects. The role will see you working on all technical stages, initially focusing on a luxury residential project in the USA. Freelance/Contract Designers will be considered.

Having gone from strength to strength over the years, working on some fantastic national and international projects, my client is now looking to expand their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury residential projects with exceptional attention to detail and a strong interior architecture background.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on luxury residential projects alongside the Director and wider team
  • Interior architecture; producing technical packages, detailed drawings, joinery etc
  • Overseeing and marking up drawing when needed
  • Working on concept development and creative stages when needed
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers and third parties.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience working as an interior architect, technical/architectural designer on luxury residential projects
  • Experience working on USA projects would be advantageous
  • Experienced in producing detailed drawing packages and tender documentation (drawings and specifications)
  • Ability to produce technical packages, detailed drawings, specifications, bespoke joinery etc
  • Good understating of materiality
  • Design intent experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office.

What you get back

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 fully DOE
  • 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing by 2 days after 2 years of service, then an additional 2 days after 4 years of service)
  • Hybrid set work set up; one day from home
  • Social activities throughout the year.
