Job Summary
An Interior Architect Job in South West London is now available with a luxury residential developer. This Interior Architect role will focus on high-end residential interiors, including national and international projects. You will create technical packages, design bespoke pieces, and work directly with skilled craftsmen.

Projects include large-scale homes, restoration work, and a contemporary wellness addition to a historic Grade II* listed building. The successful candidate will work across various project stages and support coordination with internal and external teams.

About the Company
The company is a luxury residential developer delivering properties in the UK and overseas. Projects are based mainly in SW London, with international work in the South of France and Mauritius. Their schemes range from 18,000 sq. ft to 28,000 sq. ft. The design approach combines classic influences with a contemporary twist.
Their interiors are understated, detailed, and carefully balanced. The team is seeking an experienced Interior Architect with excellent techncial abilities and strong judgement, proportion, and material awareness. The successful candidate will be passionate about intricate interiors and confident working on high-end residential projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and draw spatial layouts, interior elevations and technical packages for high-end projects
- Prepare finish specifications and schedules for cornices, architraves, skirting, and other interior architectural details
- Assist with design, coordination, and specification across all project stages
- Coordinate with internal and external teams when required
- Work directly with craftsmen to design unique pieces and curate bespoke interior elements
- Support restoration and contemporary wellness work connected to a historic Grade II* listed building
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience working on high-end residential interior architecture projects
- A proactive and collaborative personality with a hands-on approach to design
- Strong understanding of English, French, Italian, and contemporary design styles
- Strong knowledge of finishes, materials, detailing, and balance within luxury interiors
- Confident using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Able to run own smaller projects while supporting larger high-end residential schemes
- Able to assist with coordination, specifications, and detailed design across all project stages
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 – £55,000
- Holiday entitlement: 20 days + 3 days over Christmas + BH
