Interior Architect Job in Manhattan, New York

Due to continued expansion, a new Interior Architect job is available focused on corporate interior projects as part of an established architecture and design firm in Mid-town Manhattan, New York.

With a team of 16 working from their office in Manhattan on a hybrid basis, this practice focuses on a range of interior projects across workplace, retail, real estate, healthcare, and more. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an interior architect/project architect with long-standing experience within the corporate interior sector. The position will see you involved across all design phases, working with clients directly and mentoring junior members of the team, whilst still having input in creative and technical production design work. Offering up to $95,000 + benefits + hybrid working.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Technical design and production work
  • Assist with construction documentation and administration, technical planning, and execution of project documents
  • Liaise with internal teams to understand project requirements
  • Coordination of MEP engineering parameters, as required
  • Site visits, as and when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience, predominately within corporate interior projects
  • Degree qualified in Architecture, licensure preferred but not essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant work samples available of corporate interiors projects
  • US Citizenship or current Green Card holder/work permit holder.
