Infrastructure Planning Associate job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Infrastructure Planning Associate job available, with an employee-owned multi-disciplinary consultancy in their Cambridge, Cambridgeshire office. Competitive salary + Hybrid Working + Profit share.

This multi-disciplinary consultancy employee around 240 people and operate across the UK with 8 regional offices. These are situated in London, East Anglia, South West, North West and Scotland. They offer services across Town Planning, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture and Environmental.

Role and Responsibilities

• lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects through the NSIP, DNS and TCPA planning processes
• Experience of appraising issues, risks and opportunities to inform early project development team
• generate new business through successful tendering and networking.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree qualification and MRTPI accreditation
• Experience in DCO, DNS, Electricity Act and Town & Country Planning applications
• Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and the inter-relationships between EIA and the relevant infrastructure planning regimes would be desirable
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure planning and the broader UK planning system with thorough knowledge of the relevant procedures for NSIPs.
