Information Manager (Construction) Job in Sevenoaks, Kent

Information Manager job available, for a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Sevenoaks, Kent. Playing a key role in the management and coordination of information across multiple project teams and disciplines. Offering a salary of up to £60,000 + Hybrid Working + Healthcare.

The consultancy offers a multitude of services to include project management, surveying, cost consultancy, and design management, and specialise in residential and affordable housing projects for developers, Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Made up of around 100 employees and 4 offices, they are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of work across London and the Southeast. To be considered for the role you must have an information management or programme management background ideally within the construction sector for consultancy or contractor.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with high-volume information outputs, ensuring alignment with service agreements and client specifications
  • Managing two direct reports
  • Develop Common Data Environment (CDE) processes and workflows to support new-build and surveying projects, facilitating seamless information exchange among project team members and clients
  • Program and project manage the delivery of appointments to meet new building safety and fire safety regulatory requirements
  • Deliver Information Management and BIM services as the client’s representative, adhering to ISO 19650 standards and the company’s Quality Management System procedures
  • Deliver Information management services across the business, working with other departments to implement efficiencies in their processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in information management or programme management
  • Document Controller will also be considered
  • Experienced in information management in construction sector either from consultancy or contractor
  • Ability to lead multi-discipline teams in gathering and processing information through efficient workflows
  • Experienced in managing work packages that involve high volumes of documents and information
  • Proficient in Viewpoint, Asite, ACC, Dalux or similar data environment systems
  • Proficient in data collection software such as AppCan, PlanRadar or equivalent.
