**We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate Landscape Architect to join a busy Birmingham studio. You will be joining a supportive team and a company willing to support your pathway to chartership.”

This practice has 7 studios in the UK employing 130 staff. Birmingham is a thriving studio with a busy Landscape team, who boasts extensive experience of designing interesting, creative and highly useable outdoor spaces. They work across projects such as small courtyards and rooftop gardens to significant public realm regeneration projects up and down the country.

They are currently on a number of frameworks providing a strong pipeline of work and therefore they are looking to recruit a graduate Landscape Architect to join the team. Also, being employee owned the company prides itself in supporting staff and offers a number of benefits to its staff including a 9-day working fortnight, meaning every 2 weeks you get a 3 day weekend!

Role & Responsibilities

  • The position will entail working with the Landscape team on projects, liaising with clients, ecologists and other external contact
  • You will be working across a number of key sectors, including education, healthcare, residential/mixed-use and urban regeneration
  • You will be involved in all stages of projects from conceptual and feasibility studies, through to planning applications, detailed design, specification, implementation and contract administration
  • To travel nationwide for site visits as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Masters degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Have excellent communication and drawing skills
  • Experience in CAD, Keyscape, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial
  • You will be able to handle manging different projects at once
  • Some relevant project experience would be ideal
  • A flair for design and technical drawings
  • Be proactive, show initiative and be confident asking questions.
