Role & Responsibilities

• Support fire engineering projects from initial concept stages through to completion under senior guidance
• Assist with producing fire safety strategies, technical reports, drawings reviews, and supporting documentation
• Learn to apply UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards across live project work
• Shadow senior engineers during site visits, inspections, meetings, and project coordination activities
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing ideas and supporting project delivery
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality fire engineering solutions across varied UK projects
• Develop technical knowledge through mentoring, project exposure, research, and ongoing professional development

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree qualified in Fire Engineering at BEng, BSc, or MSc level from a recognised institution
• Enthusiasm to develop a long-term career within fire safety engineering and consultancy work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, meetings, and client-facing project tasks
• Able to work effectively within a collaborative office-based team and professional learning environment
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing information, preparing reports, and supporting technical submissions
• UK driving licence preferred for site visits, although this is not essential for applicants
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is unavailable

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of £38,000 – £42,000 per annum
• 4.5 day working week with Friday afternoons off
• 28 days annual leave including public holidays, with option to purchase five additional days
