Role & Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with building condition surveys, inspections, and technical reports across varied projects
• Support project delivery, including contract administration and project management tasks from concept to completion
• Attend site visits, client meetings, and liaise with contractors and consultants during project stages
• Conduct research and provide technical input on building pathology and refurbishment projects
• Develop knowledge of listed and historic buildings, with training provided where required
• Work alongside architecture and interior design teams to support coordinated project outcomes
• Contribute to clear reporting, accurate records, and professional communication across surveying assignments

Skills & Experience Required

• BSc Hons degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent relevant building surveying qualification
• Genuine interest in progressing towards MRICS chartership with full APC support provided
• Previous placement or one to two years work experience in Building Surveying is desirable
• Excellent communication skills with confidence producing written reports and technical project information
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop surveying knowledge across heritage, healthcare, residential, and education projects
• Ability to work within a team while showing confidence to take initiative when required
• Interest in building pathology, refurbishment work, and listed or historic building project environments
