Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver fire engineering assessments and support external wall fire risk assessment reporting across multiple projects
• Undertake site visits to inspect buildings and provide fire safety consultancy advice to clients
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, documentation, and compliance assessments for submission
• Support senior engineers in delivering fire remediation and building safety projects
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide clear fire safety guidance and recommendations
• Contribute to quality assurance processes ensuring compliance with UK fire safety legislation
• Assist with tender submissions and project documentation where required
• Support development of fire consultancy services within the wider team environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience delivering fire risk assessments and external wall fire risk assessments within the UK market
• Working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and building safety regulations
• Degree qualified in engineering or a related discipline relevant to fire safety
• Progressing toward chartership or holding membership with a recognised professional body
• Strong technical reporting skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Experience working within consultancy or built environment project environments
• Ability to manage workload priorities and meet deadlines across multiple assignments
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills and collaborative approach

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £40,000 and £55,000 depending on experience
