Role & Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium sized projects with support from senior team members and project managers
• Organise and lead workshops and meetings to develop and discuss fire engineering design solutions
• Prepare fire strategies and retrospective fire strategies aligned with project requirements
• Produce detailed fire engineering technical reports for a range of building types
• Review technical packages from subcontractors to ensure compliance and coordination
• Support technical queries from internal teams and external stakeholders during project delivery
• Manage multiple projects across full lifecycle stages including planning and coordination
• Attend site inspections to gain practical understanding of fire engineering implementation

Skills & Experience Required

• Engineering Council accredited BEng Hons in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum Associate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers or working towards
• Experience delivering fire engineering solutions on UK based projects
• Strong understanding of UK fire legislation, regulations, and design guidance
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of fire dynamics, smoke behaviour, and related engineering principles
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage with clients and project teams
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £30,000 and £45,000 depending on experience and suitability
• Mileage paid at 45 pence per mile for business travel
