Financial Controller/Manager – SE London

Our client is an up-and-coming property developer based in SE London, currently seeking a Financial Controller/Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Experience with Sage Accounts is required

Based in the heart of Borough Market our client is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller/Manager. The business has gone from strength to strength over recent years and has a wide variety of development projects across London. The role will see you oversee the financial aspects of the business, including payments and invoicing, budget management, financial reporting, and PAYE responsibilities. Experience working with a property developer or within the construction industry would be highly advantageous.

Role & Responsibilities

• Management of payments and invoicing
• Preparing drawdowns and financial reports
• Budget management
• Payroll, pensions, and HMRC submissions
• VAT returns
• Communicate monthly cash flow and forecasts with directors.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a Senior Booker/Financial Controller/Finance Manager role
• Experience with Sage Accounts is essential
• Experience with VAT returns
• Knowledge and/or experience with CIS schemes
• Financial reporting and cash flow forecasting experience

• HR/employment law knowledge is desirable.
