Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare expert witness reports assessing housing needs for individuals with disabilities within legal cases
• Visit claimants at their homes conducting detailed assessments of current living conditions and future requirements
• Provide architectural and healthcare insights supporting report conclusions and recommendations
• Support litigation processes including potential involvement in court proceedings when required
• Undertake research and produce supporting documentation for expert reports during training period
• Collaborate with legal professionals and internal teams ensuring accurate and compliant report delivery
• Travel across the UK and occasionally internationally to conduct assessments and support case requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• RIBA registered Architect with strong professional experience within architectural practice environments
• Full UK driving licence with ability to travel for site visits and claimant assessments
• Experience within healthcare or disability focused design beneficial for this specialist role
• Strong report writing and analytical skills supporting preparation of detailed expert documentation
• Understanding of residential design principles with ability to assess functional requirements
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage sensitively with clients and stakeholders
• Interest in applying architectural knowledge within legal and healthcare advisory environments

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience and suitability for the role
