Job Summary
The Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant job in Waterloo, London is an architecture role with a design focused practice delivering residential, heritage, commercial, interiors and community projects. Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop drawings, models, images and design documents across all RIBA stages
- Support residential, heritage, commercial, interiors and community projects from design to delivery stages
- Contribute strong graphic work for presentations, planning information and project design development
- Assist with detail design and technical drawing packages for high-quality architectural schemes
- Work collaboratively with designers, consultants, clients and contractors throughout project stages
- Use initiative to manage assigned tasks, deadlines and workload within a supportive studio team
Skills & Experience Required
- Part 2 Architectural Assistant qualification with one to three years of practice experience in the UK
- Experience working across all RIBA stages within an architectural practice environment
- Strong academic record with excellent graphic skills and a clear design approach
- Some experience of detail design, technical design and delivery would be advantageous
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp or similar software with rendering competencies
- AutoCAD and Revit experience would be advantageous
- Pro-active team player who uses initiative and contributes positively to collaborative project work
- Comfortable and confident in both client facing and contractor facing project roles
