Interior Architect Job in Hammersmith, London

A new Interior Architect job is now available in London. Perfect position for a creative individual with a background in large scale, commercial projects worldwide. Salary ranging from £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Amazing benefits package!

Established over two decades ago, this team of architects and designers have been taking over the high-end retail design sector since its inception. Their unique approach to design has helped them amass a list of top-end clients and projects in over 100 cities around the world. They are currently developing some amazing luxury retail, F&B, and hospitality projects in China ranging from 150,000 to 800,000 sqm from concept design through to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on large scale commercial projects in Asia
  • Working on design development stages
  • Interior architecture; involvement in all technical aspects of the project
  • Liaising with internal and external teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of luxury design experience delivering mixed-use/large scale projects globally
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities
  • Strong knowledge of materials and finishes
  • Confident working on projects from concept to completion
  • Proficiency in generating drawing tender packages
  • Competence in annotating construction drawing packs from contractors and third parties
  • Experience liaising with subcontractors
  • Ability to assist the associate in the design and production of interior or architectural projects
  • Previous experience working for an international firm
  • Good communication skills and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Rhino and AutoCAD required. Knowledge of REVIT preferred
  • Visualisation/ FF&E delivery experience preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Essential skills to be considered on a Senior IA capacity

  • Experience managing/mentoring a small group
  • Ability to confidently take responsibility in leading CD, SD & DD package delivery programming resources and workload.
