Consider yourself an adventurous person? Are you intrigued by fun designs? My client wants someone just like this to join their super sociable and outgoing team, in their London office.
A successful boutique architectural practice and development company, specializing in bespoke residential projects, are now taking on board adventure and leisure projects to diversify themselves and incorporate the fun factor they experience in the office each day into their new projects. Prior to the addition of the leisure sector, the practice typically works on projects ranging between £100k – £8million, both traditional and contemporary in design. An excellent opportunity now exists for an experienced Architectural Technician, with all round design and technical skills to join the practice on a permanent and long term basis.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working closely with a Director as part of a small design team and will be encouraged to take on a great deal of responsibility. You should be willing to muck in on anything when needed, be able to deliver projects quickly and efficiently whilst still to a high standard. As a small office, people get a very varied experience across all work stages on an eclectic mix of projects and they support staff growth in terms of your role and experience. You should be confident in managing external consultants on a project basis. You should be eager for client experience and be able to manage relationships with clients for the projects worked on.
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a background of experience working on high-end residential schemes within the UK; however the passion for quality, high end design, is most desirable. You must be passionate about what the practice do and be a committed member of the team, with the desire to grow and develop yourself over time.
Salary & Package
£27,000 – £33,000
Salary is competitive and you will be eligible for both a company and individual bonus.
Soft Benefits
This is a great opportunity to join a fun, friendly and sociable design team. This is a chartered practice and the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported through continued professional studies including the provision of a mentor, ongoing CPD, paid study leave and the payment of professional subs once qualified. The company has plans for continued growth in the coming years and this will create further opportunities for career progression within the business. Work life balance is of great importance to the Directors of the business, this is not a company in which you will be working late into the night on a regular basis. Monthly socials are arranged for staff and regular Friday drinks.
