Experienced Architect - Swansea

A great opportunity for an experienced architect to join a successful, family-owned property company based in Swansea.

My client have an extensive portfolio of residential freehold ground rents, which they now wish to grow, by adding additional storeys to blocks of flats or by gaining planning permission on vacant small plots of land they are now looking to significantly expand their company.

I am looking for an experienced Architect to work within a close team, in house a property company based in Swansea alongside a surveying, legal and marketing team.

Role & Responsibilities

-Taking projects from inception through to completion.
-Taking a scheme from initial brief through to concept development and on to project completion
-Ensuring compliance of design with statutory and professional requirements
-Obtaining planning permission for the Group’s schemes
-Liaising with site staff, contractors and relevant suppliers

Required Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified Architect with at least 5 years’ post qualification experience
• Familiar with relevant building regulations and legislation
  -A team player with a can-do attitude
  -The ability to work in this stand-alone position with minimal supervision

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be offered a generous salary between £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
