A fantastic opportunity for an Architect to join one of the UK’s largest independent property partnerships in Guildford, in a role offering an excellent 5-year progression plan.
Founded over 100 years ago and with over 800 staff across their network of offices in the UK, my client has built an enviable reputation in the field of high-end bespoke residential projects and private properties with values ranging from £250,000 up to £30million.
Having recently taken on a number of projects and with a significant pipeline of confirmed work our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Architect to take a leading role in delivering projects from inception through to completion.
Role & Responsibilities
-To work directly with clients from initial concept design through to onsite completion.
-To oversee a team of Assistants and Technicians as assigned to each project.
-To mentor and manage junior members of the team.
-To work closely with the Director to manage and deliver multiple projects.
-To attend networking events and to develop new business.
-Prepare drawings and specifications for approval and issue
Required Skills & Experience
-Part III qualification and ARB registration.
-A minimum of 5 years’ experience working on high on residential projects.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD.
-Experience leading projects through all RIBA stages (1-7)
-Good level of technical and construction knowledge
Salary & Package
The successful applicant will be offered a salary of up to £60,000, plus pension. There is a clear progression plan in place for all staff to progress through the ranks within a 3-5 year timescale.
Working in the historic city of Guildford, the company offer regular CPD sessions for all members of staff and flexible working hours. The staff are extremely social able and often go for lunch/dinner and drinks together in the high street. The company host annual summer and Christmas parties with a headcount of 60 people in their Guildford offices with direct access to central London in under 20 minutes, there are good transport links to the offices.
