Role & Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Impact Assessments across multiple projects, ensuring coordination of inputs and timely delivery of outputs.
• Coordinate EIA screening requests and support preparation of documentation for planning submission requirements.
• Work closely with planning teams to support the process of gaining planning consent for development proposals.
• Liaise with internal teams across disciplines to gather technical inputs and ensure coordinated project delivery.
• Ensure environmental considerations are integrated into design proposals through collaboration with design teams.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenditure against agreed financial parameters.
• Coordinate sub consultants and manage their inputs to ensure quality and programme alignment.
• Support reporting processes and maintain accurate project documentation across all EIA stages.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum one year experience within environmental planning or a related consultancy environment.
• Experience supporting or leading Environmental Impact Assessment processes across development projects.
• Ability to manage sub consultants and coordinate multiple technical inputs effectively.
• Understanding of planning processes and environmental assessment requirements within the UK.
• Experience using GIS or AutoCAD software would be advantageous for project coordination tasks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Attention to detail when reviewing technical information and preparing project documentation.
