Designer And Architectural Coordinator For Housing Developer – West Berkshire

This small housing developer requires an Architect or experienced Part II Assistant to join its design team in West Berkshire as a Design/Architectural coordinator.

The company has been established since 2004 and in that time have gained a reputation for well designed and built homes. The company is made up of 15 people working on residential developments of around 50 to 100 units a year in Berkshire. The role would see you with working the design director on a number of residential projects as an Architectural/design coordinator

Role & Responsibilities

• Procurement of surveys
• Productions of planning drawings, concept designs and developed designs
• Project coordination
• Work on the production of Planning drawings and the coordination of supporting documentation
• Production of design information to discharge outstanding Planning conditions
• Production of site management drawings and CDM risk assessments
• Production of the Product Specification and technical design brief
• Review of third-party design information and technical inspections
• Coordination of pre-construction and construction design information
• Submit and coordinate full plan approval Building Regulations and Warranty applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Have minimum of 5 years in practice experience
• Possess strong concept design skills
• Able to work on multiple projects as required
• Experience in working on UK residential projects
• Experienced at providing feasibility schemes for 10+ units (housing and/or flats)
• Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD proficient
• Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360

• Competent in the use of MS Office.

  What you get back

• Salary of between £33,000 to £36,000 depending on experience

• Standard working day of 9.00 – 5.30
