Design Technician job in Oxfordshire

I have a Design Technician job available in Oxfordshire with one of the UK’s largest timber companies. My client are looking for a number of timber Design technicians to strengthen their team in across the UK.

As the successful Design Technician, you’ll be working closely with the design team, reporting to the Senior Design Technician. Delivering timber frame designs that meet the clients requirements and expectations. This role offers progression, competitive package and the option for hybrid or remote working.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver designs to the agreed standards
• Ensure the accuracy of the design
• Offer solutions using alternative materials
• Ensure customer service levels are kept to the highest standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of timber frame design
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Consultec, Mitek or similar
• Understanding of building practises and regulations such TRADA, STA, NHBC.
