Seeking a Design Programme Manager, to join a hugely successful AJ100 Architectural practice in South West London.

Based in the heart of Brixton, this RIBA Chartered architectural firm, specialise predominantly in large scale, high end residential Architectural design. Leaders in commercial, residential, hotels and master planning projects across the East of England and London, this employee owned practice have ambition, encourage personal development and are passionate about high-quality design.

As a ‘Design Programme Manager’ you will be an integral part of my clients emerging Design Management Team, assisting their architectural project teams and managing office resources effectively.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce project specific programmes for internal resource management
  • Produce project specific programmes for external presentation/coordination
  • Produce team programmes to coordinate team work across multiple projects
  • Liaise with team leaders to generate the above programmes
  • Collect and analyse data on projects
  • Assist with the production of fee proposals
  • Create job flows
  • Put in place QA procedures
  • Assist Project Leaders by monitoring project workflows, anticipating busy periods/deadlines and advise teams accordingly
  • Internal project auditing
  • Assist the team in coordinating technical documents and packages
  • Maintain a consistent system for archiving document controlled related data
  • Report to the Associates and Directors
  • Work alongside another Design Program Manager, covering all responsibilities between yourselves.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Design Programme Management experience
  • Prior experience of this position within the construction/design industry
  • Experienced using Microsoft Project or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fantastic general computer and admin skills
  • Confident producing clear and presentable programmes
  • The ability to collect and analyse data to generate programmes
  • Able to cope with conflicting demands and prioritise work under pressure
  • Fantastic organisation skills and able to prioritise your time effectively
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.
