Design Assistant - Victoria, London

Superb opportunity to get your career started working in a multi-million-pound project in Scotland as part of a talented and well established design studio. This s a fixed term contract available until September 2018 with the opportunity to be extended.

One the biggest names in the hospitality design industry, the practice specialises on bespoke interiors for renown hotels, bars and restaurants and is widely known for their unique and colorful projects. Their passion for both, antique and bespoke pieces, has helped them create portfolio of perfectly balanced designs that stand out from the crowd.

Currently working on a £50million hotel refurb in Scotland, they are looking for an organised and switch on Design Assistant to join their team of 30 on a fixed term contract.

Role and Responsibilities

The main focus of your role will be to support FF&E Designers three days a week, assisting them with a variety of tasks for the refurb of a £50million hotel renovation. The other two days, you will be expected to work on an ad hoc basis depending fully on the team and project requirements at the time.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good computer skills, particularly excel
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Basic knowledge and ability to work as a project /events manager
• Willingness to travel to site, in Scotland
• A design background would be beneficial yet not essential

Salary & Package

The successful applicant will be offered a salary ranging between £20,000 – £25,000 fully depending on experience and a holiday entitlement of 20 days per year + bank holidays.
