A new opportunity now exists for a Customer Care (Aftercare) Manager to join our clients growing development growing team based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting time for you to take on a unique role that will be instrumental in the delivery the Group’s approach to place making, creating high quality mixed tenure and mixed use neighbourhoods, where people want to live and stay.
Role & Responsibilities
You will conduct quality audits on site including final inspection visits on build completions and sign off of developments, in accordance with the required standards of finish. You will be key at influencing the quality, control of stock and specifications of construction, before it is passed to client care. Your success will be measured by the smooth process of sale to sign off. You can influence your own destiny and how stock is delivered, by working with other construction professionals as well as clients.
You will report to the Head of Construction and work closely with the Sales Manager, Site Managers and Project Implementation Manager. Your direct reports will be a Customer Support Co-ordinator and a Building Inspector.
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer facing skills and previous experience in Customer Care, Site Management or a similar, preferably in residential construction. You will have a strong understanding of the construction process including detailed understanding of NHBC customer handover requirements along with the ability to identify the key deliverables, allowing you to prioritise your workload accordingly. Your ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop, evaluate options and implement solutions is critical. Your role is pivotal to ensure smooth transition of works being polite, tactful and assertive when having challenging conversations to get the job done.
CSCS card and or SMSTS certificate is desirable.
Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of circa £50,000 plus car allowance, pension, 24 days holiday + bank holidays and a number of health and wellbeing benefits
This position is based in Edinburgh and sites in the Edinburgh area. You will, therefore, need to hold a valid driving license and be prepared to travel.
