Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Cost Managers across multiple large residential developments
• Oversee full cost consultancy services from feasibility through procurement to final accounts
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and new opportunities
• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets to support project viability decisions
• Manage procurement strategies and lead contract negotiations with supply chain partners
• Produce accurate cost reports and financial forecasts to support project performance monitoring
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed across all cost management deliverables
• Drive adoption of technology tools to improve efficiency and enhance client service delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum eight years experience within cost management, consultancy, or quantity surveying roles
• Proven ability to lead commercial delivery on large scale residential or mixed-use schemes
• Strong experience across cost planning, procurement, and post contract cost control processes
• MRICS qualification is essential for this senior leadership position within the organisation
• Degree in quantity surveying or related construction discipline is required for the role
• Experience working with private developer clients on complex urban projects is preferred
• Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and lead internal project teams effectively
