My client is a successful and progressive private practice specialising in historic / listed buildings and is currently recruiting for a Project Architect with a proven track record in Conservation projects for their offices in rural Essex.

With a busy portfolio including an exciting range of important private and public historic buildings across East Anglia amongst their client base they require a UK Chartered Architect who may also have additional qualifications specific to conservation, such as a Post Grad Diploma in the conservation of historic buildings from the AA.

With senior level experience of running conservation projects from inception to completion this role requires someone with experience of running construction contracts, completing working drawings, specification writing, liaising with clients, negotiating with public authorities and contractors etc. In short full project running experience of conservation projects is essential for this role.

You will be able to demonstrate a broad range of experience with works to timber framed listed buildings within a conservation practice.

You will ideally live locally to this area and it is essential that you will have a car to access this remote office location as well as for attending site meetings etc.
